Preschool Teacher at Greenland Hall

Greenland Hall, established in 1997, is hiring a Preschool Teacher to join its early childhood education team. The school is committed to creating a nurturing environment where children aged 3–5 can explore, learn, and grow emotionally, socially, and academically.

The Role

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based lesson plans (literacy, math, arts, music, motor skills)

  • Establish clear, gentle classroom guidelines for behavior

  • Observe and track developmental milestones and learning progress

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and safety

  • Partner with parents through updates, conferences, and daily check-ins

  • Guide children in self-regulation, empathy, sharing, and problem-solving

Requirements

  • NCE, OND, HND, B.Sc., or equivalent in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field

  • 1–2 years’ experience with preschool-aged children in a licensed daycare or classroom

  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)

  • Child Care Background Clearance

  • Patience, creativity, energy, and strong communication skills

  • Ability to adapt activities to diverse learning styles and developmental stages
